Grandma invited us to the Camas Camp n' Ranch 4-H farm on Saturday.  There was sooo much to do there, it was a blast!  We pet bunnies, goats, and chickens, got to ride a horse, made homemade butter, decorated cookies, ate homemade icecream, went on a tractor ride, and roasted marshmellows in a camp fire.  I had a super fun time, but Lilly was a little afraid of the roosters crowing.  There will

Ethan's school has been preparing all week for this play.  1 hour a day of painting and practicing.  The performance was Friday night and Ethan had a ton of fun with his class.  You could tell the kids loved it.  It was a blacklight show with beautiful music playing for a very touching over all feeling.

The kids and I hit the road and headed to the BEACH! We climbed the Astoria Tower, went go-cart racing, out to a movie (How to Train Your Dragon), played in the arcade, saw awesome wood carvings, a Lewis and Clark statue, bought some pretty amazing hats, and had the most delicious doughnuts ever!  We stayed at Grandpa and Grandma McAtee's cabin and had a blast!

"Pumpkin Patch 2009" was a hit! We throughly enjoyed ourselves as we wheeled around the kids though the patch picking out the perfect pumpkins. The kids had a blast... Ethan faced his fear -- the "Witch", and won! We ended the evening with playing in the hay, a stroll through the country store, and cookies for the road!

Things are coming right along. We met with our finance guy yesterday, got papers signed, and are now waiting to lock in our interest rate, sign more papers, get the appraisal done, and then get the keys! Night number 3 in her new big girl bed, and she had her first fall. I was summoned to Lilly's bedroom last night about 12:30am to a big thud. Poor girl.
